A Message from Pastor Patrick Chow
A Call to Prayer

Dear brothers and sisters of BACBC San Leandro congregations:
 
During these uncertain times with the spread of COVID-19 and the closure of Madison School, our Sunday worship services and Sunday school classes are temporarily suspended until further notice.
 
Although we cannot gather in person to worship, I want to encourage you to have family worship and prayer if you choose to stay home and not attend Sunday worship services or view live streaming of services at MC1 that are available from BACBC Alameda campus.
 
I believe these challenging times will strengthen our faith and dependence on Christ. “Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need” (Hebrews 4:16). Let us pray earnestly for those who are sick, those who struggle with fear, for children and parents as many schools are closed, and for the health care professionals and government leaders around the world. Your prayer will make a difference! “The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working” (James 5:16b).

​灣區華人聖經教會聖利安祖堂-親愛的弟兄姊妹:
 
因著 COVID-19 疫情的持續發展, 麥迪遜小學於今日週六
(3/14) 開始關閉， 故此我們的週日崇拜和主日學也要暫停舉行。
 
雖然我們不能親身參加崇拜, 我鼓勵大家在家中仍然繼續禱告和舉行家庭崇拜。 我們在亞拉米達的教會仍然開放舉行主日崇拜，並提供崇拜網上直播。
 
我相信面對這挑戰的時候能增強我們的信心和對主的倚靠，
​"所以我們只管坦然無懼地來到施恩的寶座前，為要得憐恤，蒙恩惠，做隨時的幫助。" (希伯來書 4:16) 。讓我們繼續熱切的為在病中和面對驚慌的人禱告，因著眾多校園關閉，為孩童和家長們祈禱，更為醫務專員及世界各地的政府領袖, 齊心合力祈禱。 你的禱告是有效的! "義人祈禱所發的力量是大有功效的。"(雅各書 5:16b).
